John Attwood, NCG, VP of Operations & Development

A graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, the American Bankers Association, Graduate Trust School, and a National Certified Guardian since 2006, John has worked in the fields of social and financial services for more than 20 years.  In his new position, John is responsible for the institutional operations and business development of Envision Private Care. This includes day to day general and overall operations, client referrals, marketing, and exploration of new market territory.

John is passionate about client care. He worked as a medical decision-maker for those with developmental disabilities, and as a corporate trust officer with bank and trust companies, where he specialized in administering trusts and conservatorships to enhance the lives of the elderly, those with developmental disabilities, quadriplegic, paraplegic, traumatic brain injured and those challenged with mental illness.  John moved from Seattle in 2004 to New Mexico to serve as his mother’s primary caregiver. He approaches professional caregiving as if each caregiver were to take care of his own mother.

Envision Private Care offers families and fiduciaries access to a registry of highly qualified, vetted and appropriately matched private non-medical home care providers who will be paid a livable wage.  Re-imaging home care is our vision.  His goal…to provide the family employer and fiduciary with experienced, empathetic, home care staff that demonstrate critical thinking and insightful social interaction skills with your loved one or client, every day. He is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of each individual touched by Envision Private Care.  What is the value to you? Contentment, respite and, peace of mind when your loved one is cared for by the best New Mexico can offer.

In John’s free time he enjoys fishing the Chama River in Northern New Mexico, rooting for the Dodgers, Chiefs, Sooner football, Jayhawk basketball and spoiling his five adorable grandchildren.
