Rose grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1980 Rose moved to Colorado Springs where she received her degree in Medical Technology and worked in laboratory testing before moving to Albuquerque in 1990. Here, Rose opened her own beauty studio and assisted women receiving cancer treatments look and feel their very best. As a Cancer survivor herself, Rose knows the importance of positive support and interaction. After the birth of her two daughters, Rose assisted students start their careers in medical billing, medical assisting, nursing, etc. After wanting to have a career that paralleled her hobby, Rose became a silversmith for a local jewelry supplier and continues to enjoy jewelry making today. Rose is looking forward to bringing joy and stimulating activities into seniors’ everyday lives with her love of the outdoors, painting, scrapbooking, crocheting and more! Rose also loves volunteering in our community and looks forward to helping others who also want to volunteer.
